Finally Caught Up!

OK, so I am finally caught up with my blog! I know that I posted all the pictures in a hurry, and I didn't bother to make them straight up and down, sorry everyone, but I was trying to get them done with one hand on the computer, one hand holding Robbie and trying not to yell at the computer too loudly to wake Kevin up. When he did wake up I was so proud to show him how I finished the blog, and his first comment was, why didn't you straighten out the photos - I could have poked him in the eye. Instead of being a better person and leaving his comment alone, I retorted with a snotty comment about getting his own blog and doing it his way . . . aren't I horrible! He didn't even mean anything by it, but I was so defensive because I KNEW that I was too lazy to make them right . . . ha ha ha. I guess I figured it was better to get it done instead of putting it off until I time where I could do it perfectly . . . my guess is that I will not get that time! I am hoping to get some video posted soon. I think my parents will really get a kick out of it. I love it when my blogger friends post video of their kids.

So Robbie discovered his feet this weekend. It was so wonderful! On Friday he looked down, noticed his feet and his eyes got big as if he were thinking, "now what the heck are these things?!?!". By Saturday he was grabbing them. He can't quite get them up to his mouth yet, but we are waiting for that to start soon. I love watching him do this. He is also almost rolling over. On his back he goes from one side to the next, but can't quite seem to get to his stomach. He is not as good on his tummy. He just grunts and groans a lot, because he hates it, and scoots around. Apparently at day-care he scoots himself all the way off the mat on the floor. The ladies say it is pretty funny. I wish I could see it :(

Mom and Dad (Lewis) came over for dinner and the game last night. I think I annoyed Dad because I talked through the whole game! I forgot to tell him that I am not much of a Super Bowl person and really only enjoy the food and commercials! Not that I don't like football, but I am more of a college fan than a pro one! They really had fun with Robbie and hopefully he didn't disappoint, he has been such a character lately. Lots of laughing and smiles and last night he provided lots of cuddling!

I will try to stay on top of the pictures and posts now that I am caught up and the computer is up and running! Oh and I forgot to mention that I was able to post at home because our neighbor's wireless signal made it to our house - oops!

Random Silly Pictures

Tummy time - he HATES it!
Kevin's favorite outfit - Atlannta Braves. Our friends Keith and Christina gave this to us and Kevin is so excited that Robbie has this outfit from Kevin's favorite team.

Kevin and I just laughed and laughed at this photo - we snapped it at the perftect time! What in the world is he thinking?

Robbie "Air Jordan" Lewis

OK, these posted backwards, but since I am in a rush to get all these posted I am leaving it! Kevin is having so much fun playing ball with Robbie!

Robbie's First Christmas

Robbie in his "First Christmas" sleeper and matching "First Christmas" santa hat. He has learned to clasp his hands together. As you can see he actually let us put this hat on him and he seemed to like it!
This is Robbie playing with Kevin's favorite toy that Robbie got from Santa. He received some Auburn balls - football, baseball, basketball, etc.

This is a horrible attempt at Mommy taking artistic photos - see Brooke, I told you I was not at talented as you! As you can see, my foot is holding him in place. But I was trying to take a photo of him under the tree as our "gift" this year.

This is just a silly picture of Robbie.

This is another silly picture, but it really shows his Christmas outfit that we got. I just loved his outfit.

More Catching Up

Here are some pictures of Robbie's first Christmas. This isn't even close to Martha Stewart beautiful, but wewill get there!
Here is Robbie's first Christmas tree. Kevin, Robbie and I had so much fun putting it up. I am continuing my family's tradition of trimming the tree with Christmas music and hot chocolate. Robbie got tired and fell asleep, but Kevin and I enjoyed finishing up. I usually insist on taking a trip to the tree farm and cutting down our tree but Kevin put his foot down this year because he got stuck all the work of a real tree. I couldn't be happier that he did, this tree is beautiful and the lights are already on it - so easy!

I couldn't help but share this pictures. Robbie is napping in his chair and we got a perfect picture of how he likes to sleep - just like his Daddy with his hands behind his head! Also, the onezie that he has on was given to me by my step mom, Cheri, and it says that Grandpa (Frank, but can also apply to all his other ones!) is my hero!

Just a cute one of Robbie. He is wearing this adorable outfit that a friend of Kevin's dad, Robert, Jr, gave to him. Below you can see where she embroidered his name on it. We love this outfit!

Here is his name on the shirt, it is just too precious! As you can see from the picture, Robbie just loves us messing with him to take pictures!

Catching Up

I am posting some of my old photos from the past few months - be patient, it may take me a while! The outfit above was Robbie's "First Thanksgiving" outfit. The picture was taken about a week after Thanksgiving because he made a mess of this outfit about five minutes after we had him in it on Thanksgiving. In fact we had to change his outfit twice that day! Fun, fun! But I just had to post this because I thought this was just too cute.
This is a picture of an absolutely precious outfit that our good friends the Hamilton's gave us. It was actually the first baby gift that we received. We had planned on using it as his baptism outfit (which is scheduled for Feb 15th) but he has already out grown it :(

I just had to show this, it is just too cute. It is a drawing that my two nephews, Nic and Own, made for Robbie. They live in Omaha, NE and have not met Robbie yet, but they are pretty excited that they will meet him in March!
